Centennial Celebration of LYKOUREZOS LAW OFFICES

In celebration of a centennial of operation, Lykourezos Law Offices, on Wednesday, 2 June 2010, hosted an event at the Athens Concert Hall – Megaron, for the presentation of the book “Law Office of Constantinos-Pafsanias-Alexandros Lykourezos 1910-2010 – the chronicles of a family of lawyers” authored by the journalist and author, George Malouchos, and published by Livanis publications.

The Academic and former Chairperson of the Greek parliament, Anna Psarouda-Benakis, the Minister of National Defense, Evangelos Venizelos, the President of the Athens Bar Association, Dimitris Paxinos, and the Chairman of the Union of Greek Attorneys of Criminal Law, Christopher Argyropoulos introduced the book. The discussion was coordinated by the well-known journalist, Ioannis Pretenteris.

The Archbishop Hieronymos, the Ministers Louka Katseli, Andreas Loverdos, P.Beglitis, the former prime minister Constantinos Mitsotakis, the mayor of Athens, Nikitas Kaklamanis, former minister, St.Manos, and the Ambassadors of France, the United Kingdom, Lebanon, Israel, Morocco, the Czech Republic, and Croatia as well as many parliament members and leading personalities from the legal, business, media and art world were all present at the event and enjoyed an exciting journey through the history of modern Greece presented through the eyes of a Greek family of lawyers with a strong presence in the nation’s public life.
